Seeing this inspires me to make music that pushes the boundaries. I hope it does so for others as well. Here’s hoping for a resurgence in creativity.

Probably the most important concept I’ve learned about writing music I learned from Epic, and that is, that every piece of music you write, every song, even if it is just a song, is an experiment. An experiment in creating music.

I agree with Russell on this one. It’s all about the song.
I’ve enjoyed every musical experience throughout my career, but I don’t think I’ve ever (or will ever) had such a moving, musical journey more than my time playing with Epic. It opened up the world for me. God bless him for that. He was also the most intense & wonderful friend one could ever ask for.
If one day people could put him up there with the greatest songwriters of all-time and the world could recognize his gift & talent, then I might die a happy man. I’m always thinking of you, Epic. Not a day goes by without.
