Nikki Sudden, member of the Swell Maps, Jacobites, solo artist, writer, and brother of Epic Soundtracks, passed away in NYC on March 26, at the age of 49.

He had just finished up a new album, which is tentatively set for release in the fall of 2006. He had also been working for quite some time on his autobiography, which was apparently almost complete, and hopefully will also be released soon as well.

Nikki and Epic’s parents have set up a memorial fund in memory of both their sons. Donations will go toward a headstone celebrating both their lives. Complete details are available over at the forum on Nikki’s site. Please donate, if you can, and show your love and respect.

Much love and sympathy to everybody impacted by this terrible loss.
